mouse pointer accuracy?

For anyone using a mouse, do you find that the mouse over spot on the pointer is not the same as the click spot of the pointer? Like the left edge of the point is the click spot and the bottom left edge is where the "mouse over" function is activated often highlighting the option below where you are going to click when you press the mouse button.

in the 15 minutes of playing around with it, no. seems pretty ok to me, using a verbatim wireless keyboard/mouse.

It is a problem when I am zoomed out with fine print and the mouse pointer covers more than 1 hypertext link. It will click on the tip of one but the bottom left edge of the arrow is mousing over another below it and popping up for instance a photograph.
