Do you know if it is possible to move apps from the internal memory to the micro sd card in the Samsung Galaxy J6+ please?

If feasible, you would be better off storing things like photos, audio and video files, and documents and things on your microSD card and leaving apps intact in your phone's internal storage. Samsung includes a basic file manager app that you can use to move your files from internal storage to your card, just look in your Apps menu for the My Files app. Depending on how large a collection of files you have accumulated that should free up a lot more internal storage space than moving few apps over -- note that some apps need to be left intact in internal storage so movable ones will be limited in number, plus it's not a matter where all the data in any app will be movable, some code has to be left in internal storage to continue functioning. Also, multimedia files like videos will be quite large in size compared to a typical app. Finally, when apps get split between internal and a microSD card, you cannot remove that card. It has to remain mounted inside your device or those apps in question will fail to work (you'll probably get a prompt to just reinstall the app).
Anyway, all the above is based on supposition that you're inquiring about moving apps without knowing about some of the issues involved. If that's not the case my apologies.

one thing i like to add is that when apps are on the sd card, that means the apps are reading and writing onto the card. you sd card only has a finite number of times it can read and write without any issues. but as time goes by you increase the risk of wearing out the card...........so be careful.

That's not as bad with the old-style "move to sd", because that only moves parts of the app which aren't written to very much. Formatting as internal will increase card wear much more, since that can move app data (constantly written).

For the same reason formatting as internal will have more impact on speed: with the old move to sd you only need to read sd when loading the app, once loaded it should be fine. With the app formatted as internal you will use the SD more, and sd is slower.

Some phones don't have that option, this might be the case on your phone. If you however want to store photos or other media you can change your default storing path for those. If you want to store ie. Spotify music on sd card you can just go to spotify settings and change storing device/location. As being said not all devices allow apps to be stored on sd, other media is more likely to be allowed.
