    How do I move icons on my home screen? (Samsung Vibrant 'S')

    Just move them? Press and hold on the one you want to move and drag it where you want it.

    Can the main icons at the bottom (phone, contacts, messaging & apps) be moved?

    I dont have a Samsung Galaxy, but most likely they cannot.

    You can download LauncherPro and then customize them :)

    They can be done with as any other icon if an Android is an Android.
    Just LongTouch it (mash and hold), then do as you please. I haven't needed a utility yet.

    actually for those icons (Phone,Contact, Messaging, Applications) can't be done the same as "Long Touch"...

    I just found the way...

    Applications (display) > Menu > Edit > Pull down or up the items > DONE....:p

    for Samsung Galaxy S ;)

    My Galaxy series lets me move icons (including Phone, Contact, and Messaging) with the LongTouch.
