I just sold my s2 and kept my microsd card with a lot of video, pictures and music on it.
My new s3 arrived, I put in SIM card and the same microSD card and started it up and it works great.
But I cant find any of the pictures and only one video, nothing else is showing up in Gallery or Video player.
The music is all there in music player but no pics or videos.

Searching around with MyFiles there are now only 3 directories on /extSdCard which are DCIM, LOST.DIR and media. Thought there were many more before the move. The music and the one lone video are in the media directory.

Does anyone know what happened to my pictures?
Maybe the s3 cleans up the sd card on first startup and only keeps the /media directory or something?

Thanks for any advice or suggestions on this.

Prob saved to s2 and not the memory card. The memory card would show completly blank or corrupt if it had wiped itself

You will find your sd card in /mnt/extSdCard.
