I was trying to use Movie Studio to edit a video today and couldn't get it to work. Anyone else get the "This video is being downloaded. You will be notifid when it finishes." message when you try to add a video to the project? Sure...I'm trying to use a pretty large file but I put it on the internal memory, selected it and let it sit for EASILY 20 min and nothing happened. Am I missing something?

I think the file format is incompatible. Try shooting your own video and dropping that into the timeline, let us know if that works.

Hmm...I can do it with videos I shoot, and this video came from a Samsung Galaxy Tab (original) so I would think it would be compatible. Are there any video conversion apps for Android? I know it would probably take a long time to convert but, people like me who only have a tab (beater puter is on the way) could really find that useful.

when im done with a movie i try to share it but it is not giving me an option to share. It says export and when i tried that the export notification came up then just went away... What am i doing wrong? Or does it take all day to export then i can share it on facebook or youtube?

I have a movie file I used the TF to record, copied it to a PC, copied it back over and it gets stuck "waiting" also. :-(

Anyone find other software that will successfully convert or edit the weird TF movie format? My usual favorites don't work.

Asus didn't give it to us...Google did. It's Google's take on Apple's iMovie or whatever it's called.

The point of the app, just like the iPad equivalent, is to edit videos you've recorded with the tablet. You can insert photos and effetcts then save the resulting vid as a home movie of sorts.

It's not for cutting ads out of tv shows or stuff like that.
