Before making the best decision of my life and going with the HTC Hero last week, I was used to using software and compress movies and transfer to my BB. Can someone provide the step-by-step process of getting a movie on my HTC Hero?
Is there an app or is it already capable of playing movies... What size do I set it to? What format?
    Thanks
    Michael

Process: convert video to MP4 with a conversion program like Xilisoft or Videora. Plug in your phone to your computer and mount the memory card. Drag and drop.

App: Video Player in the Market
Size: Any size that'll fit on your memory card
    Format: MP4 works for me

Try lukluk in the Market, great movies and quality, a bit of buffering though.
