I have partitioned my SD card, and am running A2SD... When I go into applications and try to move large 3rd party apps, I either get a message saying that the move had failed, or the option to move is greyed out. I know I was able to move them with stock rom, so why can't I now?

Is it because they are already there through A2SD and various mik3.0 tweaks? Or is it because I don't have enough room (though it seems I enough memory on my card).

    I just don't know?

ok first a2sd needs to be run from a terminal command. You cannot go to Manage Applications and use A2SD. That is reserved for Apps2SD which is very different.

    Open terminal and type:
    su <press enter>
    a2sd install <press enter>

you will see a bunch of stuff flash before your eyes and your phone will reboot. It will take your phone a bit to boot up THIS IS NORMAL. Do not pull the battery just be patient and let it do its thing. after the boot you should notice the change in your memory.

a2sd uses a symlink to tell the OS where to find the apps
Apps2sd only moves the data part of the app to the sd card and not the whole app.

Well the su command went through, but the a2sd install command came back with an invalid command error?

So for apps that I install after installing darktremors, will they be automatically moved to the SD card?

not always it is designed to work that way or atleast thats my understanding but i have had to use the reinstall command to get more space in memory. However I was running a Sense ROM at that time. So I don't know if the ROM itself just didnt really support dt or if something else was going on.
