Can apps be moved from the internal sd card to an external sd card? I have been able to move files, pictures, music, etc., but not apps. Can apps on the 10.1 Note Tab be moved? If so, how?

Would rooting solve the problem? Are all Samsung tablets like this?

There is a root app called app2sd. Its in the play store.
    That's where I would start.

Even if you root, you will most probably be only able to move apps to SD and not their data, which defeats the purpose of the whole operation.

A root option on most big games in app store that works is " gl to sd "
I used it on my note 2 phone and should work on this rooted , I dont know if it loads the data only on the ext sd or the entire app but I played with it on big 1-2gig games and it works.
    Best of luck
Framaroot was my otion to root if interested in 1 click app rooting method
Also on the root apps is stickmount , I think its able to read ntfs drives, im waiting for my usb dongle to come in to try .

Edit stickmount does not work but USB TO GO works great! Rooted of course.
