    Hello,
I'm new so...I was just wondering if there was such an app out there now that, if you understand what I mean, could correct your songs' info such as artist, album, etc.

    Thanks.

I do that in iTunes on my desktop or laptop machine, with a keyboard and a mouse. Much faster and much more convenient than screwing around on that tiny phone screen.

MP3's are huge files to put on phones that eat up storage space fast. Better convert 'm to MP4's (half the size) if your phone can run those.

3Bier's advice is a little outdated IMHO.

iTag is a decent stand alone app. Some music players like PowerAMP and Cubed (3) have this feature built in.

Thanks, but I'm really lazy. Is there an app that'll do it automatically?

If you're editing tag data and your music library is stored on your PC and you sync with the PC then correct the tags on the PC and resync your music.

How would the app automatically know what the correct info is for the song if your tag data isn't correct?

The same way Shazam/Soundhound/etc know what song it is without having tag data. There are a couple of PC based applications (including iTunes and some WinAMP plug-ins) that use song fingerprinting to identify and correct tags. I don't think there is a phone based batch tag fixer.
