I thought the Moment's video player could play MPEG-4(mp4) videos, but when I browse to a website that has an mpeg-4 video, I get the error message saying the video is not supported. Here's a link to a video that doesn't play on my Moment, but will play inside Quicktime on my PC.

Is there a VLC like player for android to play mp4, wmp and other assorted video files?

I don't think the connection can handle buffering an MP4 video. It'd take ages.

I had almost 2 gig file, 15 vido files - different AVI files. It was shot from my power shot S3IS.

when I combined all those video it was 2 gig.

I used Sony Vegas and converted to DivX AVI, the size reduced to 523 MB. I was not able to play.....

There is a trick, in sony vegas......

I converted to mp4 and it came out as 234 MB. I copied the file to my Samsung Moment 1.5.

I browsed inside the Gallery.......saw my video, with pic clip......and played......it played well.....with all the sound and everything.......

    Basically it worked......
