I am still learning to use my htc hero. I can watch YouTube video clips but if I try to watch video clips from some websites, I get error in info dialogue message:"This content can't play on this device."
What do I do to fix this problem?

Unfortunately you only have two options, option one is to root your phone and use a developer 2.1 ROM. Option 2 is to wait for your carrier to upgrade your ROM to 2.1. What Hero do you have, the CDMA (Sprint) or GSM (Euro)? Both variants have their own sections in the forum and are full of helpful people.
