Matlon: i wouldn't take it as being negative. Take it as an inspiration to get things going for our device.
Its saying things like shabby did, that get people motivated to want to develop, and or finding someone to get interested in developing for this specific device
But thats just me. don't take offense.
and on another note, a few weeks ago, i got probably about 80% done for a deodex'd rom. but seems some of em just want to stay in their odex form. i dont remember the errors i was getting back, but maybe someone much wiser than i can shed some light on the deodex'ing subject?

youll spot the name difference, but besides that, the only other thing taht is different is ro.secure=0 which means when you do adb shell it returns # instead of having to do the su command 
that kernel is fully fuctional, it was more of herp source compiled
ill change a few things here and there but im in talks about getting the lg viper, wanted to make sure my kernel fu was up to par ;P
