I am using the Wugfresh Tool Kit and found if I un-ticked both the MTP and PTP, the phone would be seen in this toolkit and log on as just USB debugging. (also is seen in the Skipsoft kit)

The question that I have is..................

How do I re-tick one of these so the phone will be seen in Windows ????

Can not for the life of me see anywhere this can be done.

Nevermind..............found it.

For those with a similar problem, just go to storage and in the upper right screen you will see three vertical dots. Press the dots and a screen will come up. Choose MTP and Windows will see it :):)

I'm not sure why you needed to do this in the first place. As long as I have USB debugging checked, I never have to do anything with MTP when I connect to Wug's Toolkit. It doesn't care about MTP. Then again, there seems to be a lot of variability in how Windows handles these things for people here.

You are correct, the tool kits don't care much but trying to transfer files in Windows was an issue. :)
