Support mtp file transfer from galaxy s3 to ps3?

    im tryin to transfer files from my galaxy s3 to my ps3 using mtp file transfer but my ps3 keeps saying unknown device can anyone help im new to this mtp stuff and cant figure it out I dont have wifi to use any of the programs that require wifi

    If / when I want to copy files to my PS3 I just fire up a media server app installed on my S3 and Nexus (DMS). Press the triangle on the remote to display all files when browsing the remote folder.

    Having said all that - the PS3 doesn't support MTP anyway - its Microsoft proprietary I believe.

    Edit: I just read you can't use wireless. Connect the S3 via USB to a PC and use either Mediaplayer sharing on W7

    Then again you can either stream, or browse the files and copy them to the PS3. When copying though the files need to be in a file format the PS3 supports, like avi etc., (mkv isn't).
