Multi Touch Webrowsing

    One thing I like about the iPhone is the pinch to zoom feature, the droid does not have this yet...I don't think. Is there a 3rd party web browser that supports this in the app store? Or is there any hint of one coming soon? It's not that big of a deal really, I'm just curious.

    I personally don't see the big deal about pinch and zoom...and I'm not just saying that because I own a phone that doesn't have it. I could get the Dolphin browser to use it but I don't really like it. I would much prefer to just tap one spot on the screen to zoom, rather than swiping my fingers all the way across the screen.

    found an alternative way to zoom in with one hand on Dolphin... just press and hold on the spot you like to zoom in then drag your finger up to the zoom in button that appears. Just hold it down until your ok with the zoom level. It's not as fast as the double tap but does the job quite well.

    In Dolphin you have the option of doing either.

    I prefer pinch to zoom because it gives finer control over the zoom level versus tap to zoom which zooms in pre-defined increments.

    I just like it because it feels and looks sleeker, its all just opinions bro.

    The dolphin browser just updated and it now doesn't resize the text on the websites when you zoom

    the big deal with multi touch on the iphone is they need a quick way to zoom in because you can't read shit on that low res screen so you have to zoom on everything!

    Not sure, but I thought resize only happens when you enable the auto fit pages in system settings of the browser?
