I'm surprised no one has mentioned this yet, but there's a really awesome multitouch gallery app called B&B Gallery (or Multi-touch gallery pro). The interface looks like the stock droid gallery, the pinch/zoom is extremely smooth, and the app only costs a buck. There's a free version that has ads but, I figured I'd pay the dollar to avoid that annoyance. Just thought I'd let everyone know since I haven't really seen much mention of it.

np i'm just surprised no one is mentioning this, given everyone is requesting multi-touch.

This was posted here quite a while back, maybe weeks ago? I'm too lazy to search for the original thread...first time I installed the free version it hosed my droid, had to do a reset.

Tried it again later w/out any issues...

the paid version doesn't have ads. it looks like he decided to make two versions available, the free version (has ads) and the pro version ($1 at the moment, no ads).

Ill take the 2.1 gallery over this. I don't need pinchzoom that bad

I'll just wait until Multi touch is officially implemented on the Droid. Whenever that will be. However, I did try it out for a little bit and it's a pretty good app.

So is this a whole new gallery app or does it simply add multi touch to the existing gallery?

If you check out DroidMuff.in (it's actually a url) on your phone and go to downloads they have the 2.1 gallery. You just download it and open it on your phone and it installs and everything. Runs very nicely =).

You are correct, as of right now, the 2.1 gallery does not have multi-touch. Nor do I think that the official release of 2.1 will have it.

Thanks for the QR Code. Bought it, installed it. Works in 2.1. :)

FWIW, it is nowhere near as cool as the 2.1 Gallery is regarding the UI. But I does likes my multi-touch. :p
