I always root my devices the day they arrive. It is not or everyone, though.

There is a program for it, so no need to root really. Everything described in that previous post is done automatically for you and there is also a list of all apps that have already been modified by users. Do a search it has already been discussed and a link was provided.

Apologies for being stupid but should this also work with the galaxy s3? As I've just rooted it and am running 4.1.2 and it doesn't appear to work. If not, is there an equivalent app that will work on the s3?

It dose not work for S3. It is not supposed to work.


Search XDA for the S3 version. There is one.

That's a shame, thanks anyway. I've found the mod but it seems way too complicated for me to be able to install it!
