Music in folders

Ive copied a few albums in individual folders to the mp3 folder of my g2 touch, when i go to the music app it shows all the songs, id like it to show them in folders for each album so I can select an album.

what have I done wrong?

Nothing... it's just how original music app organise them.
You have 2 solutions here:

1. Make a playlist for each of your folder
2. Go to the Market and download music app that can display in folders...
