Help Music player doesn't finish songs

I copied a folder of mp3s to my Droid but when I play all (or shuffle all) it doesn't always play the entire song. I had a 12 minute tune cut out after only 2 minutes and move on to the next song! How do I get the Droid to play the full versions?

do they play on your computer or another device? may be a problem with the files themselves.

I copied the same folder to my daughter's mp3 player and they play fine. They also play fine on my home computer. It's almost like the Droid only plays a preview of the mp3, but that preview lasts anywhere from 2-4 minutes.

Download an app called mixzing and try to play the files with that. It kind of replaces the stock music app.

Try another player... there are tons. (that's what I'd do).

FYI, I use the stock player for music and a different one for podcasts. They seem to work well.
