Im hoping someone can help. I want to use my S3 as my mp3 player...however the stock music player doesnt let me edit song and album details. Does anyone know a music player for the phone that will let me edit those details?

if you plug your device into the PC, you can modify the tracks (even in bulk) with a player like Songbird.

There are several id3 tag editors in Google Play

I tend to use PowerAmp for all of my locally stored music playing needs, including editing id3 tags. I highly recommend it.

Or use MyFiles app to edit them? Does that work?

I pretty much use the stock player on my SIII. Whenever I need to retag a track I use itag. It's a free app and allows you to adjust the track info and even look for album art.

It's not a perfect solution, sometimes it doesn't tag the info but it seems to work most of the time.

Sorry for the bump and late reply. Thanks for the suggestions. Poweramp turned out to be the best one to work. Well worth the $4 lol. Thanks everyone!
