Sometimes my music player (TuneWiki or MixZing) randomly turn on & even though I will pause they they will keep turning on.

It normally happens when I am listening to Last.FM or FM Radio.

This used to happen on my HTC Hero to.

Thank for any feedback you can provide on how to fix it.

No clue, but I sometimes have my screen randomly turn on for no reason. It's still "locked" but the screen lights no (no notifications or anything).. *shrug*

Same thing happened to me, I realized that somehow my GMAIL notification became a song, I changed it back to the alert I wanted and no more random starts of a song.

Wow, I don't know which is more amazing, the fact that this happened or the fact that you found it! Either way, great job tracking this down! I'm sure others can benefit from this info, either for resoling their own issues, or for getting songs to play when they have new mail! :)

Heh, I had a similar incident with Subsonic. I was streaming music on my way to work and cut it off when I came in. Little did I know that the ringer volume and phone volume (that media players use) are separate. Well, walking through the office Subsonic just decided to start playing again and I blared KMFDM at my co-workers for a few seconds.

That's when I figured out how to schedule Advanced Task Killer to nuke apps every so often, heh.
