i'm not really into music, but i'm trying to set my folks up with music.

what i'd like to do is have a desktop app, where i can fiddle with a library and create a playlist, and then shove that over to a device app.

can this be done? i could sure use a recommendation for both a pc app and android app.

i've been using n7 player, and i think i have to click on each song and add it to a playlist.

alternately, is there an app where i can multi select songs to put into a playlist?

edit: been surfing and it appears that double twist and winamp have both an app AND a desktop client. am i on the right track??

What about Play music? Any play lists you create from the library on your PC/the cloud would automatically sync to your handset.

Yep, the playlists will be visible on the devices, if you wanted them saved locally, just hit the 3 dot menu button next to the playlist name and select "keep on device".

Any time you added tunes to that playlist, it would automatically download to the phone/tab.
