I have some music on my SD card that i want to transfer to the Gear but it's not coming up in my list of available music. Is there a certain music player I need to do this? I'm just using Google Play Music and the albums are in my downloaded file there but in the "files to transfer to Gear" they don't show up. Thanks for any help

In the dropdown at the top of the list select from Playlist/Tracks/Artist/Albums/Folders to see all your music.

I found it easiest to create a playlist to hold the specific music I want on the Gear using the stock Music app on my S7, and picked that to auto-synch in the Gear App - does that only when it's put on charge so it doesn't drain the battery.

My S7 doesn't have the "MUSIC" app, just "MILK" and Google Play. I use Play, but can't find a folder or set up any list that the Gear app can find to transfer to the S2.

You don't need to pay 2 bucks for the Music Player S2. Just use Samsung's free Music app from the Samsung store (this used to be preinstalled on older phones) to create a playlist and select it in to synch from the Gear app.
