I just drag and drop my music in folders onto the SD card. Some people use a program called Double Twist to sync. I use an app called Album Art Grabber to add it to the songs.

After you mount your phone with USB, it will appear like a flash drive. From there you can view all your files on your card. There should be a DCIM file, go in there, there should be a Music file, and as stated above, drag and drop. Also, Music Junk is a great app for finding and 'sharing' music.
