I am using a 10.1 inch Android tablet. Sometimes when I open some sites. Those sites always automatically redirect me to the cellphone version of their web pages.

This is kinda annoying, how to solve this problem?

    Welcome to the Android Forums!

What you describe is not unusual. After all the same Android OS that is running on your tablet is running on Android phones. The only major difference might be the version.

What brand/model Android tablet do you have?

Acer Iconia A500 . I want to avoid to get redirected to the cellphobe version of those websites .

I want to view the full version of the site.

    How to do that?

Try downloading a third party browser like Dolphin. What you need is a browser that has User Agent settings like "iPhone", "Android" or "Desktop".

Some third party browsers like Miren and Opera Mobile download on a full page mode directly on default.

Be cautious with installing Dolphin HD on your tablet. The A500, like my Motorola Xoom, runs Honeycomb. I had Dolphin HD installed on my Xoom and it did not run reliably. I got more than my share of FC's. I installed an APK update that seemed to improve things somewhat but it continued to FC. I ended up uninstalling that app (which annoyed me because I like Dolphin HD)...

Use Skyfire and set browser to desktop

some websites you just type [m=false] after the wensite url so it will load up the desktop version. for example you type the url http://www.engadget.com/m=false on your tablet browser.

    cheers :)

Firefox may get you the ability to get the desktop version of sites. It's been a while since I had it on my Droid, it will be one of the first apps I get after my Google account syncs my apps to my Iconia when I get it tonight.

So far Dolphin HD has been the best IMO.
Easy interface and great loading pages.

do these quick steps when at page you see as mobile version in Browser app:
    1. type about:debug in address bar, hit enter
    2. tap settings icon then Settings > Debug > UAString
    3. make your choice
