Root My battery is dying way too fast. help

Recently my phone has been acting weird my battery is dying really fast (and by fast i mean it loses 2-3 percent every min.) also it is taking forever to charge usually it takes me an hour and a half to completely charge my phone from being dead today I started charging it at 10:00pm and now its 1:40am and im only at 70 percent

Do you have an extra/spare charger and/or battery to test? How are you charging your phone, through the stock charger in the wall outlet or through the computer?

Ive tried three chargers and I have a stock battery and the double battery both seem to be charging at the same pace. I am using a wall outlet. could it be that my phone is defective?

If you have clockwork mod go tonight and reset battery calibration after its 100%. That should fix your problem

just curious, how old is your battery? might be a time to replace it. also what rom/kernel are you on?

I was getting that, I had to steal a charger from my parents. Now I'm good.

And about the losing battery charge quickly, perhaps you have a wakelock issue?
