Help My bottom icons on my home screen disappeared. How do I get them back?

You know the Phone, Contacts, etc. The only thing that's still there is Applications. I can't figure out how to get them back. Anyone know how to help?

Go in to applications screen hit menu edit and drag what u want in there then hit menu again and hit save

works. thanks. I did try Go Launcher EX and may stay with it. However, good to know how to fix the missing icons.
