My Droid is a dud!!

    Today my droid rebooted and does not get out of the reboot mode!!!!!! just continues to reboot without getting passed the red robot eye!!!! Stupid a** phone is so cool but its gonna be my third Droid in 2 weeks!! Anyone have this problem?? or had? Any pointers? I took off the battery and same thing...i waited to bettery drained but when i chraged it, the same thing happened?

    Take is back and exchange it for another one.

    You may want to evaluate your apps and when you get the new phone don't install them all at once. I have had several instances where installed apps that were not running messed up the phone in serious ways. Try it for a day or two "naked", with no apps installed, and add them in a controlled way. JMO.

    You got the RED Red Eye of Death. Were you getting spontaneous reboots? If so just return, If not, it may have been an app. Either way, hold alt & x then press the power button, while holing them all a triangle will come up. the let go and simultaneously hit camera and volume up. then a menu will come up so you can use the dpad to select factory reset.

    Tried the factory reset but it won't get passed the RED EYE (of DEATH). Will have to try the verizon store to see if they give me a phone, since i ordered it online on verizon site. Might have to do on the site but i won't recieve til tuesday. With no phone. :(

    you should be able to exchange it for another DROID at the Verizon Wireless store in person...they have a 30 day money back/exchange policy...no questions asked...:D

    Went to verizon store and got another one. This one seems a little sluggish. Will have to do for now.

    Wow talk about bad luck. The only advice I have is to watch what applications you download a poorly wrote app can make the phone run aweful.

    Wasn't that sluggish it was just the internet connection LOL but one thing i just noticed was thr loose slider but they dont cover physical stuff. 3rd Droid and still not completely satisfied... :(...I love it too much though
