Help My Droid just sent out the wrong e-mail

I am having an with a Droid that I got a week ago. I replied to an e-mail on my Droid and it sent an old e-mail that I had sent way before I even had a Droid. The person got the e-mail and replied back to me which was another old email I had sent. What is going on???

I called Verizon and they told me to disconnect my email account and reconnect it again. They said if that didn't work to do a master reset. I can't use e-mail at all if it does this. This could be potentially very dangerous.

Does anyone know of a solution at all?
