I decided and ran the bench mark to see how my evo able to handle the highest ftp as possible and disappointed with the result. It has latest ota .29 and htc stock kenrel. No custom beside rooted stock rom with revoked 3.2

i kinda hope it was app's faulty for inaccurate ftps

I got 28.6. I'm sure its the processor, not the display. I'll go run it on my sisters epic 4g. I'll post back the result, since it has a better GPU.

    Epic 4G result: 55.3 FPS.

Until we see hardcore 3D games on android, I wouldnt worry about our phones not having a good gpu.

We aren't exactly comparing PS3 or PSP games with these... I hate that reference.

'If I want to play games, I'll get on my 360 or my PS3, not my phone lolololol"

We're not talking about high-end high definition gaming graphics here... we're talking under or at VGA resolution games made to run on middle to high end android phones in the market... why shouldn't our supposedly high-end phone be able to run decently?

Just saying, you have the right to complain if you want to.

Who ever said you had the right to complain?

Oh right....the first amendment. They probably actually had threads like this in mind as they wrote that.

Whatever you are doing has to be running at over 30fps for there to be a difference. At times this demo does go over 30 but not by much; you gain maybe 1-2 fps average over not having this update.

Last I checked 800x480 isn't at or under VGA.

Because it's not about resolution as much as it is the GPU. And you can't complain because everyone knew this before the phone even came out. It has the same GPU all other snapdragon CPU phones do, which is about half the speed of the GPU you'd find in any Cortex A7-8-9 CPU phones (Pre, iPhone, Epic, Droid, etc).
