My first whack at a background and PS CS5

Well, I decided to make my own Android background in Photoshop today. This was my first time using it. I followed a few quick tutorials and it took me about 2 hours. If you want to know how I made it...DON'T ASK! Why? Because I quite honestly can't tell you what I did, I clicked until I saw something I liked. There's multiple versions of it, sequentially numbered. I feel that the 5th version fits best when the wallpaper is changed and the view box stretched to the max. The actual image is much, much, much larger than the D3's screen, but once in the gallery and set as a background, "ANDROID" is the width of the home screen.

Are you really sure? It's currently on sale, to buy a full license of CS5, for $490. I got mine from YouTube.

Now that I know what some of the buttons do, I may try making some more. Requests? I need motivation in some direction.

Well, I went into PS, made the canvas 1.75x the resolution of 1920x1080, whatever those numbers equate to be, gave it a solid fill, added some text (I downloaded a Droid font), then edited it with the 3D repoesse (sp?). What I did in there, I can't say other than click and undo until I learned the buttons and liked what I saw. Then I just put it on my SD in my DCIM folder.

The reason for the enormous resolution is that whenever you set the background on the phone, you have to crop the part you want to display and this resolution allows for "ANDROID" to fit nicely across the whole WP at the home screen. Plus, when shrunken down on the screen, it's nice and crisp.
