Help My Galaxy note 2

All of a sudden my galaxy note 2 went dead .. It won't turn on nor charge . I tried my wife's battery from her note 2 in mine and still nothing . I have tried all the button tricks and still nothing.. Any ideas? I just passed my 2 year warranty (of course) ...

Phone is not rooted , never dropped in water , never dropped at all .. I've tried the USB to try it also and nothing

is it worth enough to you to have a repair shop investigate as to whether the power ON button is working?

here locally, we have a shop that will open the phone up and give you an estimate for free, the Power Button on most phones is just $45

I was thinking that .. I'm in the search for a new galaxy right now and sell this one for parts

My note 2 just died. Motherboard I think - nothing would bring it back. Just bought a note 4. Very happy - good price and a general upgrade from the note 2. ( Note 5 not available where I live but no sdcard put me off anyway)
