Hi there, I just bought a new Samsung Galaxy 4G phone today and Im completely illiterate when it comes to using it.
I have a homescreen with apps on it that I dont want but when I tried to edit and drag the apps I do want on there, it does not work (like the iphone anyway).
There is my Home Screen, 2 blank pages, a page of my apps, another blank page. Can I get rid of all this and just have afew of my apps on the homescreen? Any advice would be appreciated!

Hi Plonk, welcome to AF :D
Let me see... homescreen is the screen where your phone jumps to when you push the menu button.
You can put your finger on any icon to select, drag and drop it on that tab screen or by moving it to aside to move it to another screen. When you select a garbagebin appears in top. You can drop an app in there, but it will not be deleted, just out of sight.
If you want to delete it, go to settings/applicationlist.

In the right lower corner is a set icon to navigate to all your installed apps. You can put your finger on any and drag n drop it to a tab screen.

Errr... still there? :D

We all learn by reading and asking. That's why we are all here. And for the fun part and the people :D;)
