The Huawei Mate 10 Pro's battery capacity is extremely large, weighing in at 4,000mAh -- it's easily one of the biggest you'll find on an Android flagship. I've been using the phone for a little over a week now, and here are my findings: It looks like I have absolutely no problem hitting 4+ hours of screen on time, with 35% or so still left in the tank. I'd estimate the phone could easily hit 5+ hours of screen on time with no problem, but I doubt it'll reach the coveted 6 hour mark. Surprisingly enough, battery life is on par with what I initially received on the Pixel 2 XL (5-6 hours SOT), but the PIxel has since dropped to barely 3 hours of SOT since the Android 8.1 update. On my Mate 10 Pro, I've had brightness manually set to about 75%, with over 150+ apps installed and (including Facebook and Messenger), and I've turned off EMUI's auto-closing apps feature which kills background apps when the screen is locked. Not sure if that would help with battery, but I don't feel killing off apps is a worthwhile trade off. Upload screenshots and share your own battery life experiences in this thread!
