Help My lockscreen is gone

I recently set up a pattern for my lockscreen. Before that, I had no lockscreen security. This was about a week ago. Now the lockscreen is gone. It still shows the lockscreen with the slider and then the password screen, but if I set it so the password is only needed after 5 minutes of inactivity, the lockscreen will flash, and then go straight into the home screen. If I disable any security, it does the same flashing and going straight to the home screen.


I have Launcher Pro, but I have not updated it for quite a long time. I don't have anything that would alter any programs (I only have normal apps installed). I don't have any app that alters my lockscreen in any way, nor is my phone rooted (it was, but an update a while back got rid of it). What do I do?

I have the original Droid X.

Taking updates with a rooted phone can sometimes have interesting side effects. It may 'unroot it' but it doesn't necessarily undo everything root did. I would recommend you check out the ATR section for the Droid X and consider doing an factory reset and/or flashing the SBF to make sure everything is cleared out and back to factory default software/firmware.

But I'll defer to the people who frequent the DX subforums for that. I've also moved this thread to the DX section so they can give you some more specific help

This problem started a long time after my phone updated. Also, I've never done anything with the lockscreen with the root. I never even had a password then. Also, what's "flashing the SBF"? And would this delete everything that's on my phone? Pictures, videos, apps, etc?
