I seem to have a heating problem with my s2. I got it last week after being an iphone user for a year.

I've not had any over heating issues with my s2 until las t night i put it on charge when i went to bed and woke up to it absolutly boiling at the back near the camera and left side.

Now it's starting to do it even when i just use an app for 5 minutes.
I don't really want to send it back is there anything i can do to stop it hhappening ??

Some phones shouldn't be left on charge over night. Strange that it's boiling hot though, my GT540 gets hot on occasion but only when I charge it or use the internet on it excessively.

I had read that the SII does this. I wouldn't worry about it.

I do worry cos its to hot to touch, and it was on charge 3 hours and was only at 50% charged.

I've been on this forum about 15 minutes & the screen & back of the phone is really really hot :-(

I would honestly take it where you got it from, and explain whats happening. They'll probably exchange it out for a new one.
