I occasionally log into AIM (AOL's Internet Messenger) from my LG Volt or Samsung Tab 2.
I think the AIM app is reasonable and adequate.
But when I am logged in I would much prefer that a notification icon show up in the notification bar. This way I'd be less likely to forget that I'm logged in after a while.
Other apps like Beejive do put a notification icon up when you are logged in. I just don't care for that app as much.
I've written to the AIM developer but this does not look like something they will add.
I don't suppose there is some other app that I could use to signify that I am logged into AIM.
