General My personal exeprience with the Eris

    Okay, so I'm getting sick of having to do a factory reset on my phone when either:

    A. My phone freezes whenever I go into messages
    B. Every time I try to call a contact, it doesn't allow me (I click the contact but nothing happens)
    3. Phone stays on lock (screen looks dark as if its turned off) for minutes until the light comes on by itself

    I'm running the V3 Leak and I am really getting sick of having to do a factory reset once a month

    Call Verizon? They really are there to help...

    Sounds like more of a hardware issue if you keep doing the reset and the problems still exist. Try calling Verizon as bjf88 said, they should be able to help you.

    I would call verizon but I don't want to pay for another phone..its just soo frustrating

    Your phone's hardware is covered under warranty (and nothing you do to your software affects that hardware warranty). You have bad hardware if doing a factory reset doesn't fix your bugs, especially on v3 (which is numerically identical to the OTA). Call Verizon, explain your bugs, and tell them you've already tried a factory reset.

    is their a certain number I should call? or use the regular customer service number?
