Root My phone has suddenly decided to be spanish!

So, I was writing a text, And noticed all my words suddenly seemed to sound very Spanish, And that my auto correct kept trying to spell my words in Spanish. In both handcent, And stock messenger. My phone is set to english, And my sms apps are also set to english..And it still wont stop trying to spell spanish sounding words!. As if all the english language is gone from my phones library. Does anyone know why this is, Or what I can do to fix it?

In handcent, next to the comma button is the English Spanish button. I hit it all the time

omg! I didn't even see that!..It wasn't there in previous versions...Wow..I feel so dumb now!. Thanks again!
