Help My phone is deleting my music files immediately by itself.

I have a Sony Ericsson Xperia play, and when I plug the phone into my computer to transfer/sync/copy music files onto my phone, when I unplug my phone, after the transfer is complete, the phone does not have the files added.

I've tried everything. Restarting the phone, reformating the sd card, using the sony ericsson media syncer, using windows media player's sync function, adding the files to the microSD card itself...

This has me frustrated to no end.


The ONLY files which the phone is not deleting are ones downloaded directly off Amazon. Ones which I've ripped directly from the CD are not being added. I have no problems adding these music files to any other MP3 player, only this Sony Ericsson Xperia Play Android phone.

Any advice?

The SD card could be locked, if you look at the micro sd card it should have a switch thats keeping it protected.
