Sorry if this was posted already...Sometimes when i turn my inc off and then back on for charging, I notice that nothing on my sd card shows(pics, music, etc...) Then when i turn it off and then on again, there they are? Does this happen to anyone else, and should i be worried about it?

Are you charging by wall socket or through a computer?

If you're charging through a computer, it might be mounting the SD card on the PC while you're charging, thus making it inaccessible to the phone.

Im charging it by wall socket, when I turn the phone on none of my stuff is there(sometimes) then i turn off and on and there it is...it's just annoying, i just wanna make sure it's not something i have to worry about or not.

If you turn your phone off and then on again, the phone has to re-read everything you have stored on your SD card again. It may take a few seconds to a few minutes for it to recognize everything stored on the SD card depending on how much stuff you have on it.

I've had intermittent problems with the phone seeing the SD card as well. N1 Gallery, the built-in gallery, and the built-in music app sometimes can't see files on the SD card. Typically, when I leave and reopen the apps, they work again. There doesn't seem to be a rhyme or reason to it, although I am using a Lexar memory card with an internal file manager that I didn't format before installing, so that may be the problem. If it was more than a minor nuisance, I'd try formatting the card.

The fisrst time i noticed it was one morning my alarm didnt go off, and i was wondering why and when i grabbed my phone to check why the ringtone didnt play, and there was no music there so it went to silent by default. Then i started checking all my stuff and all my music and pics were gone, just not there. The only thing that was there was the stock pics and songs that come with the phone. So i turned it off and back on, and there everything was...And this was in the morning so the phone was on all night, its like the sd card just jumps out of the slot!?

I have had this happen to me once as well. I charge via wall socket. I cycled the phone and all was well.

I've had this issue before. It happened a TON in my myTouch3G. I stopped having an issue when I replaced the class 2 card that came with the phone with a class 4.
