my phone won't turn on

Hello,
I have an HTC deisre s from fido and it won't turn back on. It shows no sign of life. I t ran out of battery one day and I didn't have my charger to charge it for 5 days and once I did it never turned back on. I had it in my jacket's breast pocket for that duration and it was cold but I don't know if that had anything to do with it.

Try leaving it on a mains charger (not usb) overnight and see whether it responds after that.

Otherwise I'd suggest looking for a new battery. If it's old and got over-discharged it's possible that a cell has been damaged. Only a guess though.
