Support my S3 charges only from 2A chargers

    Hi guys,

    i have a bit of a problem here, my S3 doesn't recognize the genuine Samsung charger that came with it (1A charger) or any other charger except the 2A chargers like that of S4 or Note 2??

    any one have this problem? please help.

    i was, but reverted back to stock ROM.

    Main reason I asked is because I have had different charging issues with some custom Roms and usually going back to stock or switching roms fixed the issues.

    Are u using the stock kernel too?

    Unless you flashed a kernel after going back to stock. It will be the stock kernel :thumbup:

    Wish i could think of something to try but im stumped man. Its a strange one :thinking:
    How did it begin? Like what changed that could possibly have caused it?

    it happened after flashing a custom ROM, i guess that was the reason this happened

    Returning to stock should really have fixed it though :thinking:

    No, it didn't, i might have to pay a visit to the service center :(

    No problem man. You could try flashing a different kernel if you still have custom recovery installed but if youre not confident its probably best to take it somewhere (or just use a 2A charger lol) :)
