Help My S3 won't charge past 1%

i thought my battery was fried because i had it on charger all night and it never went past 1%, so i bought a new battery...same thing. it came charged with 50%, was fine..then went to charge it, got up 6hrs later..only 1%. tried 3 different chargers, no dice. i'm gonna go ahead and assume its the charging port? not sure.

Yeah sounds like it. Or the charging cable.
I had to buy a spare battery and a wall charger for it from Amazon and use one battery while the other charges. Worked out a lot cheaper than getting the charging port replaced

You could also look into wireless charging. I'm using a Nokia DT900 charging pad and for a cheap receiver from Amazon. Works great.

thanks! i found an external battery charger for cheap and will fit my extended batteries. A LOT cheaper than fixing the charging port. and with 3 total batteries i can swap them out over and over
