General My S5 recieved 6.0.1 update couple days ago!!! But know my phone isn't getting Charged.

    I updated to 6.0.1 it worked well with some laggs, but yesterday a message from System UI in the notification bar said your Device is Heated alot we'll reduce performance, Screen Brightness and will block charging from then i tried alot but my phone is not getting charged please help {SM-G900H}.

    Did you perform a FDR after the upgrade was done?
    That can sure help a lot of issues like that.

    How far down was the battery when you decided to put it back on charge?
    If it was down to 10-15 percent, that is too low, and the battery will get hot in any normal charge anyway.

    I try to limit the discharge to the 40% level as recommended by the battery manufacturers.
    I have an alarm set on my phones for 40% and when it beeps, and says "Battery Low" I get it on charge ASAP. Your battery will thank you with a much longer life span.
