Mind blowing at the least. Looks like a pay cut for AB :) He's not proceeding with any sort of attempt to play this year. It's difficult to comprehend how the man can toss that sort of income out the window. And how can he be as good as his is without a love for the game? Players, such as Tom Brady, have nothing to prove and surely have a nice nest egg laid aside for his future. All the accolades any player could ever dream to receive and will forever be enshrined in the NFL Hall for future generations to marvel at his talent. Yet, he still plays the game. My guess is he loves to play. And I've always thought loving what you do is a big part of being that talented.

He could be amazing at working at the car wash with those hands. :) He's untouchable by the NFL as a free agent. Even if a team would take a chance on him, the NFL might limit his playing with sanctions etc.
He's done with the NFL is right. Maybe next year if he can get his life on track. Only way I see him getting a shot at signing with a team this year is if someone's star receiver goes down just prior to the playoffs. And he might not get to play even if he signs with a team.

Is that in Pyongyang or something? Like Dennis Rodman's basketball matches.

Hey there's always the CFL, if they'll even take him.
