Help mytouch 4g will not connect to motorola bluetooth

I currently own a tmobile mytouch 4g htc and bought a motorola bluetooth for 70 dollars and it won't show up on my bluetooth available devices on my mytouch but it shows up on my galaxy s 3 . I need help please
