Help N1 automatically tries to download apps

I bought the Nexus One last sunday. I'm very pleased with how the phone works. On monday though, I started noticing notifications popping up from the Android Market. It said some applications failed to download. The only app I downloaded so far was Google Earth. Now every now and then it keeps feeding me with these notifications... I've installed an app killer to shut down the Android Market, but after a while it turns back on by itself.

Does anybody know a solution for this or has anyone encountered the same issue?

Thanks in advance

that's odd! though its a feature i would love to have on my n1, i just get a market notification that there are updates to apps ive downloaded. i always have to manually download them. when i clear it(from the notification bars), it goes away for a couple days too(so its not really annoying).

Have you had an Android phone before? If so it remembers what apps you have associated with your Google account and re-downloads them.

This is the only thing I can think of as well. I found this to be quite useful when I rooted and didn't have to remember everything I used to have.
