Not sure if anyone uses Amazon Prime at all, but I have a query. If I go to watch HD content on Prime the app tells me my device is not HD compatible and can only watch SD.

Personally I thought it was, I've watched many HD films on my phone outside of Prime, so is this an issue with how the content is streamed or that the N6 has not been added to the compatible list?

I'm talking about within the Amazon Video app from their store.

When I purchase some HD content it states I cannot playback in HD only SD. Example being Lord of the rings the two towers extended edition. Also when downloading to the device you only have SD quality options.

Call amazon and ask why this is happening.

well if i can play it from chrome then it makes sense the phone can play HD content from amazon.

but for grins i installed the app and was able to play hd content no problem, so perhaps check your internet connection, restart your device, clear cache and those things...

Slow reply on this one, sorry.. I've been in contact with Amazon and apparently no android phone or tablet supports HD playback through the app.

    Strange indeed.
