I have been a voyeur on this forum for about a month but tbis is my first post.
Is there any way to name a location in Google Maps? I cannot remember all the addresses that show up in the map search. For example, I would like to rename 1400 Pennsylvania Ave. as The President. Can this be done? Thanks for your help.

I just create contacts for the places I need to remember, like the airport. So I just click the box next to end point, and load it from my contacts.

To make it easy, when you search on the map, click on the little bubble that shows the address. On the menu that pops up where you can select navigate, scroll and you'll see add to contacts. You could also add the contact through my contacts in gmail on your computer to make it easier to type everything out.

You might also take a look at My POI in the market. About 1.50 US and works great for what you are doing.
